The casters can operate continuously in high temperature environments from -40° F to +475° F. Intermittent operation at 525°F. The new high temperature wheel is well-suited for industrial applications such as autoclaves, product finish systems, food manufacturing, or other extreme environments. 

The glass nylon casters have excellent wear and tear resistance and can withstand high impact forces. Glass nylon wheels have been proven to outperform common high-temperature resistant phenolic wheels, which tend to crack and become brittle over time. Nylon wheels are injection molded 33% glass fiber reinforced, heat stabilized nylon 6/6 material to provide non-marking floor protection, near zero water absorption and long service life. The wheels are also resistant to most solvents, oils, acids, and chemicals.
